PS6: Big Plans, Later Launch
Rumors suggest Sony may bolster the PS6 launch with heavyweight exclusives such as Horizon 3, Spider-Man 3, a new IP known as Intergalactic, and a God of War set in ancient Egypt. Even a couple of these arriving near launch would make a strong statement.
However, Sony seems in no rush to move on from the PS5. Strong sales, rising PSN engagement, and a longer-than-usual lifecycle point to a PS6 release after 2028, with a bigger emphasis on smarter, AI-driven hardware and deep ecosystem integration. Pricing remains uncertain, especially with the $700 PS5 Pro setting expectations.
