BMW 7 Series Parks Using Remote Control

At the moment, BMW isn’t exactly ready to show off its all new 7 series but the company is excited to reveal some of its new sedan’s features in which driverless parking comes at top.

The top things about 7 series’ are the lightweight frame supported by BMW’s EfficientLightweight tactic, the BMW’s newest generation engines, and new tech for chassis, gesture control, driverless parking, driver assistance systems and touch display.

The world of technology is already aware about the plans of BMW to put forward driverless parking, but doesn’t quite know how near the 7 series’ automated parking will come to put on a show of the BMW’s Remote Valet Parking Assistant.

Remote Valet Parking Assistant was quite astonishing according to video announcement in which BMW spokesman Chris Brow stands outside the garage and directs the 7 Series car outside.

Chris Brow said that the car can automatically park either while pulling in or out. He further said that the driver will not be required to sit in the vehicle for parking the car.

Other than the driverless parking, the 7 Series will comprise advancements to Driving Assistant and Driving Assistant Plus systems like steering assist and lane departure warning.

Talking about improvements, the gesture control and touch ambitions are said to be improved. For the very first time iDrive monitor would be touch sensitive, coming out at the same time the company jumps forward with gesture controls.

According to the BMW, “Hand movements detected by a 3D sensor control infotainment functions in an extremely intuitive and user-friendly fashion,” the company further stated, “The gestures can be used for a number of functions, including controlling the volume in audio applications and accepting or rejecting incoming telephone calls.”

iDrive will have a support for custom gestures, which will allow users to mix up hand movements to start up definite features.
