Bahrain Condemns Terrorist Explosion Near Syrian Defence Ministry in Damascus

The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist explosion that occurred near a building of the Syrian Ministry of Defence in the Bab Sharqi area of Damascus, which resulted in the death of a soldier and injuries to several civilians.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Bahrain’s firm condemnation and rejection of the attack, describing it as a terrorist act aimed at undermining security and stability and intimidating innocent civilians.
The Ministry reaffirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with the sister Arab Republic of Syria, stressing its consistent position against all forms of violence and terrorism.
It extended sincere condolences to the family of the slain soldier, as well as to the Syrian government and people, and wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the blast.
Bahrain reiterated its call for intensified international efforts to combat terrorism and protect civilian lives and public institutions.
