Porsche Launches Exclusive 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition to Celebrate 70 Years in Kuwait
Porsche has unveiled a special limited-edition version of its iconic 911 Turbo S to mark 70 years of the brand’s presence in Kuwait.
Named the 911 Turbo S Sadu Edition, the exclusive model will be limited to just 20 units and will be available only for the Kuwaiti market.
The edition commemorates the first Porsche sports car imported to the Middle East — a Porsche 356 Cabriolet brought to Kuwait in 1956 by Morad Behbehani. Today, Behbehani Motors Company remains Porsche’s official importer in Kuwait.
The special edition is based on the latest 911 Turbo S generation and incorporates design elements inspired by traditional Kuwaiti Sadu weaving, a centuries-old craft recognised by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The exterior features a Cremewhite finish with custom Sadu-inspired decals in Bordeaux Red, Guards Red, GT Silver, and Black, along with exclusive gold badging and specially designed Sport Classic wheels.
Inside, the car includes a bespoke two-tone leather interior with hand-stitched detailing and customised sports seats featuring Sadu textile patterns. The Arabic “70 Years” emblem is embossed on the headrests to mark the anniversary.
The limited-edition model also includes premium features such as a Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, titanium sports tailpipes, and advanced performance upgrades.
Dr. Manfred Bräunl described the project as a tribute to Kuwait’s long-standing relationship with Porsche and the Behbehani family’s seven-decade history with the brand.
Meanwhile, Ali Behbehani said the Sadu Edition reflects both Kuwaiti heritage and Porsche’s high level of customisation craftsmanship through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
Porsche said the vehicles will receive exclusive finishing touches at its Zuffenhausen facility in Germany, adjacent to the 911 production line.
