Qatar Unveils Eid Al Adha Celebrations with Entertainment, Culture and Summer Offers

Qatar is preparing to welcome visitors from across the GCC for Eid Al Adha with a packed programme of entertainment, cultural events, family activities and exclusive summer offers as part of its ongoing “Hala Summer” campaign.

The seasonal programme combines live performances, exhibitions, beach experiences and hotel promotions, positioning Qatar as a major regional destination for families during the holiday period.

More than 100 hotels and resorts across the country are participating in the “Hala Summer” initiative, which runs until September 2026. The campaign includes special accommodation packages and the “Kids Go Free” offer, allowing up to two children under the age of 12 to stay and dine free of charge at participating properties.

Visitors with confirmed hotel bookings will also receive access to selected complimentary and discounted experiences, including desert safaris, cultural tours, marine excursions and offers at theme parks and waterparks.

Qatar’s outdoor attractions are expected to be among the main highlights during Eid, with popular destinations including Desert Falls Water & Adventure Park and Meryal Waterpark attracting families and adventure seekers.

Beach destinations such as Katara Beach, West Bay Beach and 974 Beach will also host visitors looking to enjoy watersports, dining and seaside entertainment during the holiday.

The Eid programme will also feature a series of live performances and family shows across Doha. The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra is set to perform a Mozart and Bartók concert on May 23, while the travelling water-based show Fontana Circus continues its performances at Hyatt Plaza until the end of May.

At the Qatar National Convention Centre, families can enjoy the children’s musical “Jamal Jamal” during the first three days of Eid Al Adha, alongside other theatrical and entertainment performances taking place at venues and shopping malls throughout the city.

Qatar’s museums and cultural institutions are also continuing their summer exhibitions during the festive period. Visitors can explore “Empire of Light: Visions and Voices of Afghanistan” at the Museum of Islamic Art and “Resolutions: Celebrating 15 Years of Mathaf” at the Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art.

International sneaker exhibition Sneaker Con Doha will also take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, adding to the country’s entertainment and lifestyle calendar during the holiday season.

Tourism officials said Qatar continues to strengthen its position as a leading regional destination by combining accessibility, family-friendly experiences and a year-round calendar of cultural and leisure attractions.
