Ministry to deliver 128 housing units soon
The Housing Ministry has confirmed that apartments under the Umm Al Hassam project will be delivered to the beneficiaries by the end of this year.
The project reached 99 per cent in construction and infrastructure works.
The ministry said that the apartments were built according to the AU model. The project consists of four residential buildings with 128 apartments. Each apartment consists of a living room, Majlis, five bedrooms, spacious kitchen, four bathrooms and a balcony.
Mosques, public parks and necessary facilities to meet the needs of the residents will also be available.
The ministry also announced that construction of the Salmabad project reached 97pc. The project includes 14 buildings with 322 apartments on an area of 8.1 hectares.
The two residential projects are implemented in line with the Royal directives to accelerate the implementation of 40,000 units to contribute
to resolving the old housing applications on waiting lists.
The ministry also noted that there are more housing projects under implementation in Tubli, Sanad, Nabih Saleh, Hamala, Bilad Al Qadeem, Sitra, Arad, Busaiteen and Hamad Town.
