BTEA Introduces Optional Q1 Fee Deferral for Tourism Sector
The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has announced the option to defer first-quarter fees for all tourism establishments, including hotels, hotel apartments, furnished apartments, and tourism restaurants.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support business continuity and enhance flexibility within the tourism sector, in partnership with the private sector. It also aims to strengthen Bahrain’s competitiveness as a leading tourism destination.
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to closely monitoring the needs of the sector and introducing supportive initiatives that contribute to its development and growth. It also noted that further details on how to submit applications will be shared through its official communication channels.
