Originally from Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu, India, Dr. Vadivel’s journey from a Silicon Valley professional and former senior Microsoft executive to a global solo traveller drew strong interest from the audience. Notably, he learned to ride a motorcycle only at the age of 50, highlighting his belief that age is no barrier to pursuing new challenges.

During an interactive Q&A session, students sought career advice while others asked about the practicalities of long-distance solo travel. Dr. Vadivel shared his future plan to cover another 60 countries over the next two years before concluding his journey in Texas.
