Bahrain Strongly Condemns Armed Attempt to Storm White Hous
The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned an armed attempt to enter the White House Correspondents’ Association annual dinner, which was held at a hotel in Washington, D.C., and attended by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the act and said it firmly opposes all forms of violence and terrorism. It also expressed full support for the United States and its people, and praised the security forces for quickly stopping the attack and arresting the suspect.
Bahrain wished a speedy recovery for the injured security officer and also expressed hope for the continued safety of President Trump and lasting peace, stability, and prosperity for the United States.
