HM King congratulates Bahrain Tennis Club
Manama : Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) in Juffair has been congratulated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on its 40th anniversary founding following an audience at Al Safriya Palace with club president Khamis Al Muqla.
During the meeting, Al Muqla passed on thanks and appreciation by club founders, members and staff on the occasion and His Majesty’s support for sports and tennis in the Kingdom and discussed expansion plans at the club including the centre court and a 500-seat capacity stand with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports
Affairs.
Also in attendance was HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, who introduced His Majesty to high ranking officials and pioneers of tennis from the Bahrain Tennis Club and Bahrain Tennis Federation.
