Travelex opens store in Dragon City Mall

Manama : Leading foreign exchange specialist Travelex opened its 28th store in Dragon City Mall, Bahrain on August 3.

The store was inaugurated by Errol Fonseca - Head of Retail (MEIAT) in the presence of other officials.

“We are incredibly proud to open our 28th store here. We are committed to providing world-class products and above all, exceptional customer service,” Fonseca said.

“We had a very clear growth strategy to find locations in which we can provide an enhanced offering for our customers in convenient locations and I think our rapid growth in Bahrain is testament to the success of that strategy,” he added.

The new outlet will offer foreign currencies, buyback guarantee, Western Union, Xpress Money and Travelex Money service (TMT), which allows customers to exchange currency and conveniently transfer their money. 

Travelex has presence in key downtown areas including Exhibition Road, Juffair, Riffa, Arad, Muharraq, Rameez and Tubli. Furthermore, it is conveniently located in major malls such as Bahrain City Centre, Dana Mall, Seef Mall and, now, at Dragon City Mall for its most recent store.

Travelex Bahrain’s 28 outlets are part of a global network more than 1,500 stores and 1,286 ATMs in 29 countries, at key airport, seaport, rail and tourist locations.

Globally, Travelex continues to grow its network by expanding into new markets (both organically and through acquisition) and by investing in new stores, ATMs and its online platform.
