Liaoning–Bahrain Ties Strengthen with New Strategic Partnership
A senior delegation from Liaoning Province, People’s Republic of China, has concluded a multi-day strategic visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, marking a significant step toward deepening bilateral cooperation and expanding long-term economic partnerships across key sectors.
Hosted and coordinated by Project Headquarters W.L.L. (Project HQ), under the leadership of its President Mohammed Al Fahad, the mission featured a comprehensive program of high-level meetings, investment discussions, and sector-focused engagements.
The delegation was led by Huang Yang, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, and included prominent business figures such as Jin Weidong, Chairman of the Liaoning General Chamber of Entrepreneurs (LGCE), Wen Qidong, Chairman of Dongsheng Technology, Wang Libo, President of the Liaoning Association of SMEs, Xu Baoping, Chairman of Shilong International, and Wang Shuying, Chairwoman of Sanyo Group.
A key milestone of the visit was the signing of an Exclusive Strategic Partnership Mandate between LGCE and Project HQ.
The agreement appoints Project HQ as LGCE’s exclusive strategic partner and official representative in Bahrain, serving as the central coordination channel for delegations, investment inquiries, and market-entry initiatives.
The partnership establishes a direct bridge for Liaoning enterprises seeking to expand into Bahrain and wider GCC markets, reinforcing Bahrain’s appeal as a regional gateway for Chinese investment.
Bahrain–Liaoning Partnership & Investment Forum
The main engagement of the visit, the Bahrain–Liaoning Partnership & Investment Forum, was held on 26 November 2025 at The Palavra Resort, Reef Island, Manama.
