Washington DC: President Donald Trump appointed Adam Telle as acting secretary of the US Army following the immediate resignation of Dan Driscoll.
Telle currently serves as Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works and previously spent much of his career as a Capitol Hill aide.
Driscoll stepped down as top civilian official after reported clashes with Pentagon leadership, specifically Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
A former law school classmate of Vice President JD Vance, Driscoll’s exit marks the latest senior military departure under Trump.
