Los Angeles: Zahara, 21, and Maddox, 24, two of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children, have taken another legal step to remove 'Pitt' from their surnames.
The siblings have completed California's legal requirement of publishing their intention to change their names in a newspaper and are now awaiting court hearings in September for final approval.
Both have already started using ‘Jolie' in public. Zahara used the surname during her graduation ceremony, while Maddox dropped 'Pitt' from the credits of a recent film he worked on.
Their sister Shiloh legally removed 'Pitt' from her surname in 2024, while Vivienne has also used 'Jolie' professionally. The moves come years after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's separation in 2016 and their divorce, which was finalised in 2024.
