Saudi coalition says six Houthi ballistic missiles intercepted

Riyadh: The Saudi-led coalition said its air defences intercepted and destroyed six ballistic missiles fired by Yemen's Houthi movement at Saudi Arabia, amid a further escalation in regional hostilities.
The coalition stated that the missiles were found and intercepted before they reached their intended targets. It did not immediately offer information about the locations attacked, or whether the attacks resulted in casualties or material damage.
The Houthis, who control much of northern Yemen, have already launched missile and drone attacks against Saudi territory. The latest incident occurred as tensions between the Houthis and regional powers escalated, heightening fears about the security of Saudi cities and crucial infrastructure.
