UAE Suspends Iranian Airline Flights
The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the suspension of flights operated by Iranian airlines to and from the UAE, effective Thursday, September 24, until further notice.
The GCAA said the decision follows a US ban restricting Iranian airlines from using airports in several countries around the world.
The authority added that it will continue to update relevant authorities and the public on any developments, pending the resumption of normal air traffic between the UAE and Iran.
The GCAA urged the public to rely exclusively on official and authorised sources for information regarding the suspension and any future updates.
