TDT | Manama

Bahrain’s youth are a central component of all development plans, and they contribute significantly to realising a more prosperous future for the Kingdom and its citizens. This was said yesterday by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, during a remote meeting with the fifth intake of the First Deputy Prime Minister (FDPM) Fellowship.

Speaking to the intake, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the importance of investing in and facilitating the future empowerment of Bahrain’s youth, outlining the key role they play in the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty the King.

HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the Fellows’ dedication and diligence throughout the programme, which has demonstrated their remarkable tenacity as they support national efforts aimed at overcoming challenges presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19), as part of Team Bahrain.

HRH the Crown Prince expressed his appreciation to the Fellowship’s administrators who have modernised workforce education and wished each Fellow success in applying the knowledge they have retained during the programme when they return to their workplaces. For their part, the FDPM Fellows expressed their gratitude and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince for his continued support and encouragement.
