HM King lauds progress of govt

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the landmark achievements of the government, under HRH Premier’s leadership, in the field of information and communication technology, its use of modern technology to serve sustainable development plans and strategies in all sectors in the kingdom. HM King Hamad commended HRH Premier’s role and efforts in supporting and achieving the sustainable development goals at the local and international levels.
HM the King congratulated HRH the Prime Minister on the “Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development” Award conferred on him by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) during a meeting at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday with Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
HM King Hamad and HRH the Prime Minister discussed the current situation in Yemen, and the role of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to restore legitimacy and stability there.
