Ashoora Campaign to Focus on Cleanliness Around Ma’atams

Plans to manage cleanliness, waste removal and public organisation around ma’atams during Ashoora were reviewed at the first coordination meeting held in the Northern Governorate ahead of the “Ashoora Nartaqi 17” campaign.

The meeting brought together Northern Municipality Director-General Mohammed Saad Al Sahli, Northern Municipal Council Chairman Dr Sayed Shubber Ibrahim Al Wadaei and heads of ma’atams in the area.

Discussions focused on keeping areas surrounding ma’atams clean and organised during the season, while ensuring efficient waste removal and maintaining the general appearance of neighbourhoods.

The meeting also stressed the importance of complying with municipal requirements and maintaining direct coordination among the municipality, the council and ma’atam administrations throughout the occasion.

Mr Al Sahli said the municipality was ready to provide the necessary support and use its resources to serve residents and participants during the campaign.

He said cooperation with the municipal council and heads of ma’atams was essential to improving services and achieving the campaign’s objectives.
