The First High Criminal Court of Appeal has scheduled a hearing in the case of a 39-year-old Asian man convicted of forgery and unlawfully selling a vehicle belonging to his friend. He was sentenced to three years in prison, ordered deported, and the forged documents were confiscated.
According to case details, the defendant was given temporary use of the vehicle in 2024–2025 but later sold it without the owner’s knowledge or consent.
He is accused of collaborating with another individual to forge an official ownership transfer document, including a fake signature of the victim. The document was then used to complete the illegal sale.
The victim confirmed he still possessed the original ownership papers, while forensic analysis verified the signature was forged. Records also indicated prior similar cases involving the defendant.
