First Juventus Academy all set to come up at Saar

Manama : International Business has announced the launch of its first Juventus Academy. The academy will be located in Saar with first class facilities including a clubhouse overlooking the playing area. All coaches are Juventus Academy coaches and follow the Juventus mythology and coaching techniques.

“Adidas is a main partner of Juventus and we will be using official academy Adidas kit as well,” Abdul Wahed Alkooheji CEO of Juventus Academy Bahrain said.

“I am very excited about bringing such a huge club to the island, Juventus is one of the leading football clubs in the world,” he added.

Head Coach John Mackenzie added: “The Academy will provide a proper environment which enables young players to learn how to improve and develop their technical and tactical abilities. The coaches will provide competitive youth soccer players with a positive encouraging club environment, focusing on friendship, respect, fair play, personal integrity, and above all hard work.

The goal is to improve every player within the technical and tactical aspects of soccer training in both the mental and physical sides of the game, by following our values: Fun, honesty, fair play, respect for others, teamwork and Juventus are the most successful club in Italian football and one of the most successful globally.

Overall, they have won sixty-three official titles on the national and international stage: a record 34 official league titles, a record eleven Coppa Italia titles,  record seven Supercoppa Italiana titles, and, with eleven titles in European competition, two Intercontinental Cups, two European Champion Clubs and Cup/UEFA Champions Leagues, one European Cup Winners’ Cup, three UEFA Cups, two UEFA Super Cups and one UEFA Intertoto Cup); they will also be competing in this year’s Champions league final.

The first term of Juventus Academy will begin on September 10, 2017.
