Security, sovereignty a firm red line

Bahrain’s security and sovereignty are a “red line” that will not be compromised under any circumstances, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa declared yesterday, reinforcing the firm stance outlined by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, said that betraying the nation or sympathising with its enemies constitutes a “moral and national crime” with no place in society.

He further stressed the importance of national awareness and unity, noting that genuine loyalty remains the benchmark of citizenship, while praising the role of Bahraini youth in safeguarding the nation.

Historic Moment

In a separate statement, Interior Minister General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa described the King’s recent media address as a “historic moment” that reinforces the state’s foundational principles on security, sovereignty and stability.

He said the message calls for national unity and collective responsibility, warning that any attempt to undermine Bahrain’s stability would face firm legal consequences. He added that the Interior Ministry will continue its security duties with resolve, guided by the leader.
