Suspect Arrested for Selling Counterfeit Gold Bars to Shops
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the Capital Governorate Police Directorate has arrested a 39-year-old Asian national for attempting to defraud several gold shops by selling counterfeit gold bars.
According to the directorate, action was taken immediately after receiving information about the incident. Investigations and inquiries led to the identification and arrest of the suspect. Examinations later confirmed that the seized gold bars were fake.
Legal procedures are currently being completed in the case.
