Bahraini Farmers Invited to Join 13th Edition of National Farmers’ Market
The Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs has officially opened applications for Bahraini farmers wishing to participate in the 13th edition of the Bahraini Farmers’ Market for the 2025–2026 season. Interested participants can submit their applications from Tuesday, October 7, until Monday, October 13.
Engineer Mohammed Mirza Al-Aribi, Assistant Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs at the ministry, highlighted the ministry’s readiness to launch this year’s market at the scenic Al-Badiya Botanical Garden, in partnership with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development and STC Bahrain. He emphasized that preparations are underway to ensure a standout edition, continuing the successes of previous years and reinforcing the market’s role as a premier national event supporting local agriculture and entrepreneurial initiatives.
Al-Aribi noted that the registration is open not only for farmers but also for agricultural companies, nurseries, date shops, beekeepers, restaurants, cafes, and local entrepreneurs or family businesses offering value-added products derived from local agricultural produce. Applications can be submitted via the ministry’s website (www.mun.gov.bh) or through the Bahraini Farmers’ Market Instagram account (@farmersbh).
The Assistant Undersecretary also revealed that the organizing committee has prepared a full program of accompanying activities, which will take place every Saturday throughout the season. “The Bahraini Farmers’ Market has become a prominent national platform that brings together farmers and producers of value-added products, encouraging increased diversity in local agricultural production. It also attracts a wide audience, reflecting its status as a preferred destination for residents and citizens, while promoting a culture of supporting locally grown products,” he added.
