Bahrain Expat’s Son Killed in Tragic Bike Accident in Spain
A young life was tragically cut short in Spain, as 28-year-old Mervin Thomas Mathew, the son of Bahrain-based expatriates Moni Odikandathil and Suja Annamma Mathew, died in a motorcycle accident on Monday night around 9:30 PM local time.
Mervin, originally from Kurungazha, Pullad in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district, was the son of well-known Bahrain-based social worker Moni Odikandathil. He is mourned by his parents and two sisters, Merlin and Merin.
The details surrounding the incident are still being confirmed by local authorities. The tragedy has sent shockwaves through the expatriate Malayali community in Bahrain and beyond, who have expressed their deep condolences and support to the grieving family.
