Pakistan, UN discuss regional stability

The United Nations Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for the Middle East conflict, Jean Arnault, met Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday to discuss regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts.
During the meeting, Arnault conveyed the UN chief’s appreciation for Pakistan’s role in supporting regional peace and stability, and reaffirmed the United Nations’ continued engagement in that regard.
Dar briefed the envoy on the latest regional situation, highlighting Pakistan’s sustained diplomatic outreach and ongoing consultations with relevant parties.
He also expressed gratitude to the UN Secretary-General for what he described as his “invaluable contributions” and consistent support for Pakistan over the years.
