Donald Trump Says Iran Ceasefire Is ‘On Life Support’

Washington DC: US President Donald Trump said the ceasefire with Iran is in a fragile state after rejecting Tehran’s latest response to a US-backed peace proposal.
Speaking to reporters, Trump described the agreement as “one of the weakest” and said Iran’s reply failed to include major nuclear concessions sought by Washington. He dismissed the response as unacceptable and warned that the truce, which has lasted around 10 weeks, was close to collapsing.
The comments came after the US proposed restarting talks with Tehran. Iran’s response reportedly focused on ending hostilities in several regional conflicts, including tensions involving Hezbollah and Israel.
