Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President, stressed Bahrain’s keenness on launching initiatives to increase families’ revenues, strengthen their stability and consolidate their contribution to the national economy.

She underlined continuous efforts to develop programmes and projects targeting productive families to ensure their sustainability, development, and competitiveness.  She made the statement yesterday as she distributed prizes to the winners of the 12th edition of HRH Princess Sabeeka’s Award for Productive Families.

The prize distribution ceremony was held at the Sharifa Al Awadhi Club for Children and Youth in Riffa. The family of Essam Abdulla Mohammed Hadi, who is specialized in making luxury coffee blends won the Best Productive Family Prize. At the Arab level, the Best Productive Family Prize went to the Family of Zahra Nadhr Al Shatti (Kuwait), which specializes in producing exquisite perfumes.  The Best Product Prize was awarded, at the Arab level, to Egyptian Mariam Azmi Azer for leather products.

The same prize went to Bahraini Manal Mohammed Ali Mohammed who is an expert in innovative home farming. Dar Al Atta’a Society (Oman) and Jordan’s Ministry of Social Development were the co-winners of the Best Productive Families Sponsor Award on the Arab level.
