Sawsen Al-Shaer congratulated on Arab honour
Manama : Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) congratulated columnist Sawsen Al-Shaer on being conferred the second edition of the annual Arab Woman Award, in recognition of her dedicated efforts to promote social and community awareness in Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf region.
BJA members hailed the laureate’s Arab honour, which she amply deserves, in recognition of her prolific achievements and positive impact on the young generation, saying that she is the best to represent Bahraini women.
“The award-winner contributed greatly to the media in Bahrain, projected woman’s ability to achieve her aspirations and promoted political and social awareness through her credible writings which are in touch with reality", they said.
