HM King Highlights Strong Bahrain-Kuwait Ties and Security Cooperation
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, during his visit to Bahrain.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also attended the meeting.
King Hamad reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding relations with Kuwait across various fields. He highlighted the close cooperation between the two countries, particularly in security, and stressed the importance of continued consultation and coordination amid developments in the region.
Sheikh Fahad conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, along with his wishes for Bahrain and its people to achieve continued progress and prosperity.
The King asked Sheikh Fahad to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Kuwaiti Amir and people, and praised the Amir’s efforts in advancing Bahrain-Kuwait relations and supporting joint Gulf cooperation.
Sheikh Fahad expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality, while commending King Hamad’s continued efforts to strengthen cooperation and ties between the two countries.
