HM King Reviews Greece Visit and National Development with Crown Prince
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and reviewed a range of national and regional developments.
His Majesty praised the outcome of his recent visit to Greece and discussions with Greek President Constantine An. Tassoulas and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, saying the talks would help broaden cooperation between Bahrain and Greece across various fields.
The King also expressed appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality extended by the Greek leadership during the visit.
During the meeting, His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince reviewed domestic developments and ongoing projects across Bahrain aimed at supporting citizens and advancing sustainable development.
Marking Saudi Arabia’s National Day, the King highlighted the Kingdom’s development achievements and reaffirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He stressed that Saudi Arabia’s security and stability are closely connected to Bahrain’s national security and reiterated support for measures protecting its sovereignty and stability.
His Majesty also condemned what he described as escalating terrorist attacks against Saudi Arabia by Iran-backed Houthi militias.
The King praised the efforts of HRH Prince Salman in advancing Bahrain’s national development and stressed the importance of preserving national unity, security, stability and national assets.
He also called for continued cooperation with regional and international partners to support initiatives promoting security, stability, peace and sustainable development.
His Majesty further commended the Bahrain Defence Force, National Guard, Ministry of Interior and other military, security and civilian agencies for their readiness and efforts to protect the Kingdom.
He particularly praised the Bahrain Defence Force for its role in responding to hostile Iranian attacks and safeguarding Bahrain’s territory, sovereignty and security.
