BDF Confirms Situation Fully Under Control

The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced on Saturday evening that the Kingdom’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized further hostile attacks launched by Iran.

In an official statement, the Command confirmed that the situation across the Kingdom remains completely safe and under full control. Authorities reassured citizens and residents that no injuries or loss of life were reported as a result of what it described as a “criminal attack.”

As a precautionary measure, Bahrain’s airspace will remain temporarily closed in anticipation of any further escalations. The General Command stated that the continued closure is necessary in light of what it called unjustified attacks that constitute a clear violation of international law.

The Kingdom of Bahrain reaffirmed its legitimate right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty and national security, in accordance with international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

Field teams remain deployed to secure the targeted locations and ensure the safety of citizens and residents. The Command emphasized that the vigilance and readiness of its personnel remain at the highest level to deter and defeat any aggression aimed at undermining Bahrain’s security and stability.
