flydubai Launches Daily Flights to Aleppo

Flydubai has officially launched its daily non-stop service to Aleppo International Airport, making Aleppo the airline's second destination in Syria alongside Damascus.
The inaugural flight departed from Dubai International Airport on 20 July and was welcomed in Aleppo with a ceremonial water cannon salute and an official reception. The new route strengthens air connectivity between the UAE and Syria, offering greater convenience for business travellers, tourists, and members of the Syrian community living across the GCC.
It also complements flydubai's existing three daily flights to Damascus, providing more travel options and significantly reducing journey times. The airline said the new service reflects its long-term commitment to the Syrian market while supporting trade, tourism, and economic cooperation.
Aleppo joins flydubai's growing network following recent launches to Bangkok and Benghazi, with Pokhara, Nepal, set to become another new destination in September 2026.
