DENVER: A Frontier Airlines flight departing Denver International Airport for Los Angeles struck a pedestrian on the runway late Friday night. The incident occurred at approximately 11:19 pm, involving an Airbus A321 carrying 224 passengers and seven crew members.
According to reports, the individual hit was partially consumed by one of the aircraft's engines, leading to a brief engine fire that was quickly extinguished by the Denver Fire Department.
Pilots aborted the takeoff after smoke was reported in the cabin, and passengers were evacuated via slides as a precaution.
