Saudi Arabia Backs Global Call to End Gaza War and Ease Humanitarian Crisis
Saudi Arabia has welcomed a joint statement from 26 countries urging an immediate end to the ongoing war in Gaza and the removal of all barriers preventing humanitarian aid from reaching civilians in the war-torn region.
The statement, which reflects growing global concern, also firmly rejected any attempts to alter the demographics of the occupied Palestinian territories and condemned the continued expansion of Israeli settlements.
The Kingdom reiterated its strong stance against what it called Israel’s “inhumane practices.” These include blocking the delivery of aid and targeting civilians trying to access essentials such as food, medical supplies, and clean water.
In a statement, Saudi officials called on the international community to act swiftly and decisively, saying Israel’s continued defiance is worsening the crisis and threatening broader efforts to secure peace in the region.
Riyadh stressed the urgent need for collective global action to put an end to the suffering in Gaza and support efforts for a just and lasting solution.
