A massive fire broke out late Friday night in a 67-storey residential building in Dubai Marina, but thankfully, all 3,820 residents were safely evacuated with no injuries reported.

The fire started around 9:30 PM on the upper floors of Tiger Tower (Marina Pinnacle), a high-rise in one of Dubai’s busiest districts. Dubai Civil Defence teams worked tirelessly through the night, finally bringing the fire under control after six hours.

Thick smoke continued to rise from the building on Saturday morning, but officials confirmed that all 764 apartments had been cleared safely. Ambulance and medical teams were on the scene, offering both medical and emotional support to evacuated residents.

Authorities are now working with the building’s developer to arrange temporary housing for those displaced.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) also announced a temporary disruption in metro services between Dubai Marina Station and Palm Jumeirah Station, prioritizing safety and giving space for emergency responders to work. An alternative bus service was provided for commuters in the affected area.

Despite the scale of the incident, the response by emergency services ensured that everyone was safe — a moment of relief in what could have been a devastating tragedy.
