BENEFIT Launches “Tawajuh” Summer Training Program to Guide Students’ First Steps into FinTech

BENEFIT, the Kingdom’s innovator and leading company in FinTech and electronic financial transaction services, has launched “Tawajuh”, a new summer training program designed to help students gain early insight into the workplace and make more informed choices about their academic and professional futures.

Introduced for the first time this year, the one-month program reflects BENEFIT’s continued investment in youth development and its belief in the importance of guiding talent at an early stage. Tawajuh has been developed specifically for high school graduates and first- and second-year university students, giving participants the opportunity to explore professional life before entering the later stages of their academic journey.

The program’s name, “Tawajuh”, is inspired by the Arabic concept of direction and guidance. It reflects the purpose of the initiative: helping students understand their strengths, interests, and future possibilities through a structured experience that combines learning, mentorship, and practical exposure.

Throughout the program, participants will be introduced to the professional environment at BENEFIT and to the wider role of digital financial services in Bahrain’s economy. They will have the opportunity to engage with teams, observe workplace practices, and develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, discipline, and professional confidence.

By engaging students at an earlier stage than traditional internship programs, Tawajuh helps connect academic learning with informed career planning. The program goes beyond building knowledge by encouraging participants to reflect on their interests, understand the expectations of the labor market, and approach key decisions, from choosing an academic specialization to exploring future career paths, with greater clarity and confidence.
