Al Salam Bank Concludes “Tanweer 2.0” Program with More than 150 Participating Students

Al Salam Bank announced the conclusion of the latest edition of its “Tanweer 2.0” Program, which expanded its reach this year by opening participation to the wider public for the first time and welcoming more than 150 students from Grades 10 till 12, as part of the Bank’s continued commitment to youth empowerment and the development of future generations.

Throughout the program, students participated in a range of educational experiences and interactive sessions designed to strengthen their understanding of essential financial and banking concepts, develop their practical and personal skills, and provide them with first-hand exposure to professional work environments and the banking sector. The program also helped broaden participants’ understanding of the workplace and enhance their readiness for the next stages of their academic and professional journeys.

Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s Tanweer Program expanded to reach a broader segment of young people across the Kingdom. Participation was available to students in Grades 10 till 12 who hold an Al Salam Bank Youth Account or opened an account to take part in the program, reflecting the Bank’s commitment to providing early learning and development opportunities that help build knowledge, awareness, and future readiness.

Commenting on the conclusion of the program, Muna Al Balooshi, Chief Human Resources Officer at Al Salam Bank, said: “We are pleased to conclude the latest edition of the Tanweer Program which was more simulation-based, and was expanded to reach a broader group of students. Through the program, we sought to provide participants with an educational and developmental experience that strengthens their financial awareness, develops their practical skills, and provides them with greater exposure to professional work environments and the banking sector. We believe that providing such opportunities at an early stage helps young people build confidence, broaden their perspectives, and better prepare for the next stages of their academic and professional journeys.”

Through the Tanweer Program and its wider community and development initiatives, Al Salam Bank continues to invest in education, youth empowerment, and the development of national talent, reflecting its commitment to creating sustainable social impact and nurturing future generations equipped with the knowledge, skills, and awareness required to contribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continued growth and development.
