Saudi Transformation Drives Growth

Bahrain Economic Development Board member Khalid bin Ali Al Amin congratulated the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia on the Kingdom’s 96th National Day, highlighting its economic transformation and growing regional role.

Al Amin said Saudi National Day is an opportunity to celebrate the Kingdom’s development achievements, particularly the transformation driven by Saudi Vision 2030. He highlighted the Vision’s focus on economic diversification, private-sector growth, investment, innovation, human capital and non-oil sectors including tourism, manufacturing, logistics, technology and renewable energy.

He said Saudi Arabia’s economic growth has significance beyond its borders, contributing to the wider Gulf economy through trade, investment and interconnected supply chains.

Al Amin also highlighted the deep economic ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, describing the relationship as built on decades of trust, shared interests and economic integration. He said Saudi Arabia’s expanding economy is creating opportunities for Bahraini businesses to invest, expand and form new partnerships.

He identified food industries, logistics, tourism and hospitality, technology, manufacturing, financial services and investment as areas with potential for stronger cooperation between businesses in both countries.

Al Amin stressed the importance of greater GCC economic integration and stronger private-sector cooperation to strengthen supply chains and create sustainable opportunities.

He also praised Saudi Arabia’s investment in human capital, technology, innovation and infrastructure, saying these areas will remain important to building a competitive and sustainable economy.

He concluded by wishing Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people continued security, prosperity, progress and success on the occasion of the 96th Saudi National Day.
