Bahrain, Pakistan to greater ties

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday underscored the depth of historical relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, which King Hamad said are based on mutual understanding, confidence, respect and cooperation.
His Majesty also praised the outcome of the Bahrain-Pakistan Joint Committee meeting, and said, “it will further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.” King Hamad also commended the role of the Pakistani community and their remarkable contribution to the Kingdom’s development. HM the King was receiving at Safriyah Palace Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
He is on an official visit to Bahrain for the Bahrain-Pakistan Joint Committee meeting. Pakistani Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of Pakistani President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan to HM King, and their best wishes of further growth and prosperity to the Bahraini people.
His Majesty asked the Pakistani Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to the Pakistani President and Prime Minister and his best wishes to the Pakistani people of constant growth and development. Discussions focused on regional and international developments of mutual concern.
