Metal fence installed in Aali
Manama : In a bid to prevent accidents, a metal fence was installed yesterday on Avenue 38 in Aali in the Northern Governorate.
Northern Area Municipality workers were seen fixing the fence on the vital road, two weeks after a deadly accident was reported.
The road once connected Aali and Jeri Al Shaikh areas, but was closed seven years ago due to security concerns. However, the bigger part of the road remains open within the borders of
Aali.
On March 29, an Asian national was killed on the spot when a Bahraini speeding female driver mowed him and his bicycle down. The incident raised concerns on over-speeding within residential areas in villages.
