Crown Prince lauds F1 organisers’ hard work

ManamaFormula One weekend continues to be delivered by Bahrain’s highly skilled workforce, who have supported the race’s development for over a decade, said Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday.

Lauding the organisers of F1, Crown Prince noted that while the race provides direct domestic benefits across the tourism and services sectors, the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix also plays an important role in showcasing Bahrain on a global stage. Prince Salman also extended his appreciation to the efforts of the BIC staff for their continued hard work and commitment.

HRH Crown Prince was speaking here while conducting a tour at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) ahead of the F1 Grand Prix race.

During his tour, the Crown Prince highlighted that the Grand Prix continues to facilitate employment opportunities throughout the Kingdom. “The event has become an important component of Bahrain’s diverse economic strategy.”

On the occasion, HRH Crown Prince emphasised and welcomed the role the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix had played in developing motorsport in the region.
