Family House for Microfinance signed a framework agreement with Aman Compliance Solutions to introduce an electronic system for verifying customer data against local and international sanctions lists.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Social Development Minister and Family House Chairman Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi and UK Chargé d’Affaires Simon Martin. Family House CEO and board member Adel Abdulmalik signed for the institution, while Aman Group CEO Deacon Johnston signed for the company.
The five-year framework aims to improve screening and verification procedures, strengthen governance and compliance, and support regulatory requirements issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain. The system has been tailored to Bahrain’s regulatory requirements and international best practices.
