Supreme Council for Environment Chief Executive Officer Amina Hamad Al Rumaihi took part in a high-level UN meeting in New York on challenges arising from rising sea levels.
Speaking during the meeting held as part of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Al Rumaihi stressed the importance of international cooperation, sharing expertise and developing sustainable solutions to support global climate action.
She also attended a high-level event on climate action for a just transition and participated in an interactive dialogue on Bahrain’s digital transformation and its National Human Development Report, organised by Derasat and the UNDP in Bahrain.
