The Korean Embassy in Bahrain, in cooperation with the King Sejong Institute in Manama, held a celebration marking the traditional Korean Chuseok holiday alongside the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bahrain and South Korea.
Korean Ambassador Choi Byung-sun said the occasion reflects gratitude and family bonds, giving the celebration special significance in Bahrain this year. He said bilateral ties have developed over five decades through continued communication, solidarity and mutual respect.
The event featured cultural and entertainment activities, traditional harvest games, Hanbok experiences and live Taekwondo performances. Local businesses and stores also showcased products and services linked to contemporary Korean culture in Bahrain.
