King Hamad Joins Worshippers For Eid Al-Adha Prayers In Bahrain

Manama: Worshippers across Bahrain marked Eid Al-Adha prayers on Friday in the presence of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who joined citizens and residents in observing the holy occasion.

Following the prayers, attendees listened to the Eid sermon delivered by Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Hajri. He began by praising Allah, expressing gratitude for His blessings, and sending prayers upon Prophet Muhammad and his companions.

In his sermon, Shaikh Al Hajri spoke about the spiritual meaning of Eid Al-Adha, describing it as one of the most significant and blessed days in Islam. He also highlighted Bahrain’s leadership, praising ongoing efforts to maintain national security, stability, and public wellbeing.

The sermon underlined the importance of unity, loyalty, and collective responsibility, while also acknowledging the role of Bahrain’s defence and security institutions in safeguarding the country and protecting its achievements.

Prayers were offered for the continued health and wellbeing of His Majesty King Hamad, along with wishes for lasting peace, prosperity, and stability for Bahrain and its people.

After the prayers, the King exchanged Eid greetings with worshippers and extended congratulations to citizens and residents on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. He also prayed for continued blessings for Bahrain and for peace and prosperity across Arab and Islamic nations.
