Manama, 11 May (BNA) — The National Charter Drafting Authority received a delegation of staff and volunteers from the Executive Office of the National Plan “Bahrainuna National Plan” in a visit aimed at highlighting Bahrain’s national experience in strengthening constitutional values and promoting community participation.

The visit focused on reviewing key milestones in the Kingdom’s political and administrative development, as well as the role of the National Charter as a historic foundation for modern governance and public engagement in national decision-making.

As part of the programme, the delegation toured the Al-Sarah Gallery, which presents Bahrain’s past, present, and future through interactive exhibits and historical displays. The gallery includes a collection of documents, archives, and artifacts that illustrate the Kingdom’s developmental journey and administrative progress over the years.

The referendum was highlighted as a landmark national event that contributed to shaping Bahrain’s modern civil state and reinforcing the principles of popular participation.

The delegation also reviewed the historical importance of the Charter as a turning point in consolidating national unity and supporting the evolution of Bahrain’s governance structure.
