The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has announced that parts of Bahrain may experience a slight drop in visibility during the late-night and early-morning hours of Thursday and Friday (October 9–10, 2025) due to patches of light fog forming over some areas.

According to the forecast, weather conditions are expected to gradually improve starting Saturday, October 11, as winds shift to northwesterly directions, ranging from moderate to occasionally brisk speeds. This shift is set to bring a noticeable drop in humidity levels, offering residents a refreshing break from the recent muggy conditions.

Meteorologists say this transition marks the beginning of milder autumn weather, providing a more comfortable feel to temperatures and signaling relief from the high humidity that has dominated the past weeks.

The Directorate has advised motorists to exercise caution while driving during early morning hours when visibility may be reduced, and to stay updated by following official weather bulletins and advisories through trusted channels.

As the gentle northwesterlies return, Bahrain’s skies are set to clear — hinting that the cool embrace of autumn is just around the corner.
