Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani is the Prime Minister of Qatar received a phone call from Jean‑Noël Barrot, during which both sides discussed bilateral relations and ongoing regional developments.

The two officials reviewed cooperation between the State of Qatar and the French Republic, and explored ways to further strengthen ties across diplomatic and strategic areas.

Regional Mediation Efforts

A key part of the discussion centered on mediation initiatives involving the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both sides emphasized the importance of supporting diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and preventing further escalation in the region.
