Two Dead After Ship Catches Fire, Sinks in Black Sea: Romania

Bucharest: The Romanian government said on Monday that two people died when a ship caught fire and sank in the Black Sea off Romania. Eleven passengers managed to survive. Following the tragedy, Romanian authorities launched a search-and-rescue effort, deploying emergency workers to the region.
After the vessel sank, the two victims were found dead, while the rescued passengers and crew members were safely evacuated. Authorities have not yet revealed additional information on the victims.
An inquiry is underway to discover what sparked the fire that sank the vessel. Officials are anticipated to offer additional details as rescue and investigation efforts continue.
